WEEK 5 RESULTS — BARTLETT COUNTRY CLUB

The 57th Penn-York season came to a close Monday at Bartlett Country Club, and the finale produced a new Division I champion and the end of two of the season's longest streaks.

Matt Beaver (Cardinal Hills) earned his first Division I title of the season with a 72, three clear of Kai Caskey (Bavarian Hills) at 75. Kael Riekofsky (Smethport CC) closed the year with his second Division II win, shooting 85 to beat Donovan Palumbo (Emporium) at 90. Kaysen Beaver (Cardinal Hills) went back-to-back in Division III with a 39, with Gavin Blocher (Bartlett) second at 44. With Keegan Smith not in the field, Division IV opened up and Hudson Honeck (Bona's) took it with a 37, ahead of Griffin Beaver (Cardinal Hills) at 42. Molly Burnett (Bartlett CC) won the Girls 18-hole division on her home course with a 113, and with Alaina Hirliman's four-week run ending, Peyton Truman claimed her first 9-hole title with a 57.

Liam McArdle (Caledonia CC) was named the John Forrest Most Outstanding Golfer for 2026, finishing the season with a 75.75 scoring average — the low mark on tour.

Penn-York Week 4 Results — Pine Acres Country Club

​

Week 4 moved to Pine Acres on Monday with a lighter turnout than usual, but those who showed up brought their A-game — the scoring across divisions was some of the best of the season.

Evan Maloney (Chautauqua Golf Club) took the Division I title for the second time this season, shooting a 72 to edge Owen Wright (Cardinal Hills) at 73.

In Division II, Donovan Palumbo (Emporium) earned his first win of the season with an 82, edging Kael Riekofsky (Smethport CC) at 83.

Kaysen Beaver (Cardinal Hills) won Division III with a 40, with Carter Crabtree (Chautauqua Golf Course) second at 41.

Keegan Smith (Bavarian Hills) made history in Division IV, firing an extraordinary 29 to shatter the all-time Division IV record in the 57-year history of Penn-York. Griffin Beaver (Cardinal Hills) was second at 41.

Molly Burnett (Bartlett CC) and Ally Sikora (Orchard Park) both shot 114 in the Girls 18-hole Division I, with Burnett taking the title on a tiebreaker. Alaina Hirliman (Birch Run) won the 9-hole division for the fourth straight week with a 44.

Penn-York Week 3 Results — Wellsville Country Club

Week 3 moved to Wellsville Country Club with 86 golfers competing. Liam McArdle (Caledonia CC) earned his first Penn-York win with an impressive 72 to take the Division I title. Matthew Beaver (Cardinal Hills) was second at 76.

In Division II, Kael Riekofsky (Smethport CC) made it two straight wins with an 81, edging David Preston (Caledonia CC) at 85.

Kaysen Beaver (Cardinal Hills) shot a 40 to win Division III, with Carter Crabtree (Chautauqua Golf Course) second at 45.

Keegan Smith (Bavarian Hills) completed a remarkable three-peat in Division IV, winning his third straight week with a 36. Hudson Honeck (Bona's) was second at 42.

WEEK 2 RESULTS — PENNHILLS CC

Penn-York's 57th season rolled on Monday at Pennhills, and the top of the leaderboard got a shakeup.

Evan Maloney (Chautauqua Golf Club) fired a 77 to take Division I, with L. McArdle (Caledonia CC) winning a playoff for second at 78 over M. Beaver (Cardinal Hills). Kael Riekofsky (Smethport CC) went from runner-up to winner's circle in Division II with a 79, ten shots clear of the field. C. Crabtree (Chautauqua Golf Course) beat K. Beaver (Cardinal Hills) in a playoff to take Division III after both shot 42. Keegan Smith (Bavarian Hills) stayed perfect on the season in Division IV, shooting 34 for the second straight week. A. Sikora (Orchard Park) won the Girls' 18-hole division with a 125, and Alaina Hirliman (Birch Run) made it two in a row in the 9-hole division, matching her Week 1 winning score of 46.

Wright Wins at Elkdale; Blocher Records Hole in One to Open 57th Season

Penn-York's 57th season got underway Monday at Elkdale Country Club with 105 golfers taking to the course on a brutally hot day. Fast, firm greens kept scores elevated across all divisions, and the field had to grind it out from start to finish.

Owen Wright (Cardinal Hills) took the Division I title, shooting a 5-over 75 to hold off Evan Maloney (Chautauqua Golf Club) at 78.

In Division II, David Preston (Caledonia CC) claimed his first Penn-York title with an 82, beating Kael Riekofsky (Smethport CC) (87) by five shots.

Division III produced the day's signature moment: Gavin Blocher (Bartlett) recorded a hole in one during his round, carded a 37, then beat Mason Myers (Kane CC) — who also shot 37 — in a playoff to take the title.

Keegan Smith (Bavarian Hills) put together the most dominant round of the day in Division IV, firing a 34 over nine holes to win going away. Camden Giles (Chautauqua) was second at 42.

In the Girls' 18-hole Division I, Molly Burnett (Bartlett CC) won with a 110, with Aubrey Resig (Bolivar CC) second at 121. The 9-hole division was taken by Alaina Hirliman (Birch Run) at 46, followed by Alyx Henzel (Bartlett) at 70.
